Igire Rwanda Mailer (“the Service”) is an internal tool operated by Igire Rwanda Organization for sending and managing email and SMS campaigns. It is available only to authorized staff signing in with an @igirerwanda.org account. This policy explains what the Service collects and how that information is used.
Information we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo to identify you and control access.
- Campaign data. Recipient lists, message templates, and send history that operators upload or create in order to run campaigns.
- Delivery and engagement events. Send, delivery, open, click, bounce, and unsubscribe events used to report on campaign performance.
How we use information
Information is used solely to operate the Service: to authenticate users, deliver the campaigns operators create, measure delivery and engagement, and keep the tool secure. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Service providers
The Service relies on a small number of processors that handle data on our behalf: Google for sign-in, an email delivery provider for sending messages, and a managed database for storage. Each processes data only as needed to provide its function.
Retention and security
Campaign and account data is retained for as long as it is needed to operate the tool and is protected with access controls and encrypted connections. Access is limited to approved organization accounts.
Your choices
Recipients of campaigns can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every message. For access to, correction of, or deletion of information held in the Service, contact us using the details on the Contact page.
